Empowering Military Families, One Step at a Time

H.E.R.O.E.S. Care is a St. Louis based non-profit dedicated to supporting military members and their families throughout their journey. They address challenges such as mental health, family reintegration, and crisis intervention, ensuring that no military family feels alone. From pre- to post-deployment, they are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of those who serve.

About H.E.R.O.E.S. Care

H.E.R.O.E.S. Care was created in response to the increasing issues of military suicides and the impact of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) on service members and their families. Recognizing the urgent need for a responsive and proactive support system, they focus on early detection and intervention to prevent crises. Their comprehensive and localized support structure addresses these pressing concerns and provide necessary care before problems escalate.

They offer a range of services to support military families, including free legal assistance, veteran service officers to help with VA claims, and an on-site barber shop. As they continue to expand, they plan to add employment services, mental health counseling, and budget counseling. Their goal is to create a single resource center for veterans and service members, and to provide support for them through any challenges they may face.

They also have a free store called the Mission Depot where veterans and military members can “shop” for essential items like clothing, food, household goods, and personal hygiene supplies at no cost.

Our Impact

This past June, 35 of our Warriors volunteered at the Mission Depot. We spent time sorting, unboxing, and labeling clothing. We worked together organizing household goods, helping to prepare them for our heroes.

It was a day filled with teamwork. We’re proud to support impactful organizations like H.E.RO.E.S. Care. We look forward to volunteering there again and continuing to help others in the community flourish.
