After 13 years of working in the banking industry and dedicating a portion of his time to motivational speaking to students, Darin joined Larson Financial Group in 2008 to assist practicing physicians in Michigan, Northwest Ohio and Northeast Indiana.

Darin earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Business Administration from Butler University. While studying and playing basketball at Butler, Darin received numerous accolades both on and off the court. Most notably, in 1991 Darin was honored as the top free throw shooter in all of NCAA Division I basketball and named the Horizon League’s Player of the Year. On March 16th, 1992 he was also featured as the Player of the Week by Sports Illustrated.

In culmination of Darin’s work ethic and dedication, he was recently named to Butler’s Sesquicentennial Team and inducted into the school’s Hall of Fame. Darin’s hard work and discipline on the court spill over directly in the way he lives his life and serves his clients. He would prefer his dedicated service to his clients speak louder than any honors he’s earned in the past.

In addition to serving several physicians in private practice throughout Indiana, Michigan and Ohio, Darin also devotes a substantial portion of his time to serving the needs of staff, graduating residents, and fellows at the University of Michigan Medical School, the University of Toledo Medical Center, the Wayne State University School of Medicine, the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and the Fort Wayne Medical Education Program*.
