John Fischer
John’s passion for wealth management ignited early, driven by a deep curiosity about the markets – how they work and what drives their fluctuations. He sees the opportunity to guide individuals toward achieving life’s most important goals as a meaningful way to serve others and make a lasting impact in his community.
With two decades of experience in financial services, John has dedicated his career to meeting clients’ needs. Before joining Larson, he served as Chief Investment Officer, where he led the firm’s investment committee in shaping the investment philosophy and strategy for client portfolios. His expertise spans market strategy, portfolio management, and investment research. Before his role as CIO, John worked as a bond trader, providing him with a diverse background that he now leverages to help clients achieve their highest aspirations.
Outside of work, John is a devoted father who cherishes time with his two children. He’s also an avid runner, having completed eight marathons, including three Boston Marathons. His love for sports and travel adds richness to his life. John is actively engaged in his community, serving on the board of directors for Go! St. Louis, a non-profit organization, and volunteering at his church.
John has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance with a Minor in Accounting from Saint Louis University.
